Vita

1954 born in East Westphalia, Germany
From 1972,  studied for teaching profession at the Universities of Paderborn and Münster, specialising in Art and German.
1975 First, and 1977 Second State Examinations.
From 1977, worked as a teacher in Special Education.
1977 -1981 in parallel to teaching, studied Special Education at the University of Dortmund, and finished with the degree in Special Education.
During many years of teaching, particular interest and commitment in art education; artistic work seen as a successful way to reach children’s and young adults’ perception, and to support and encourage their learning and personal development.

2006 left teaching and moved to the United Kingdom (Norwich, Norfolk) with husband.
From 2007 voluntary work at BUILD Charity in Norwich with English young people and adults with special needs, with focus on art activities.
In parallel, building up studio in Norfolk, freelance work, and taking advantage of the many artistic opportunities that Norwich, as the home of an Art Academy with a long tradition, had to offer.

From 2009 contact with Norwich20Group, a renowned group of professional artists of all disciplines. More than 10 years of involvement in their weekly Life Drawing workshop with annual exhibitions, and short courses in Life Drawing and Portraiture at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Exchange and work with Norfolk sculptors to deepen skills to work on sculpture.

2014 became an elected member of the Norwich20Group, and participated in their exhibitions on a regular basis, in Norwich, Norfolk and Suffolk.
2015, 2017 and 2019 Solo Exhibitions at the Anteros Arts Foundation in Norwich.
2021 Set-up of studio in Münsterland, Germany.
2020 – today: further participation in N20G exhibitions in the UK.
